Retirement celebrations planned for Clerk of Court Mitchell R. Elfers

A retirement celebration is being organized for Mitchell R. Elfers, the Clerk of Court. The events will take place on two separate dates and locations: Friday, February 13th at the U.S. Courthouse in Las Cruces, located at 100 N. Church Street on the third floor, and Friday, February 27th at the Pete V. Domenici U.S. Courthouse in Albuquerque, located at 333 Lomas Blvd NW in the first floor rotunda. Both celebrations are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.

The invitation extends to all members of the Federal Bench and Bar. According to the announcement, “All members of the Federal Bench and Bar are cordially invited to attend.” Attendees may choose to participate in either or both events.

“Come celebrate Mitch’s retirement! You are welcome to attend either/both events,” states the invitation.
